I was working in China for a number of years and am now working in South Korea. I wish all my friends from SHS the very best. I WILL try to make it to the 50th! Rosaline (Ann) Ward (Butler) - 11-21-2010 Sorry I didn't make our 2010 class reunion. Hope we have another in 2011. I've been fighting Stage 3 cancer for the last 12 months; going through chemotherapy, etc. I just completed all of my 'year after diagnosis' medical procedures and I've received an extremely good report. All of my vital parts are clean and healthy. My oncologist has changed my blood work from every 4 weeks to every 12 weeks. And she even agreed to let me rejoin my marathon running team. I can't run anymore but we have a walking group for folks with injuries (and those who can't or don't want to run anymore) and I'm a permanent part of this group. Woo Hoo, we walked 8 miles last Saturday. I don't know what the future will bring but today I am healthy. And I'm not a worrier; I am a firm believer in 'let go and let God'. sfhdweb - 10-13-2010 A beautiful website. It was fabulous renewing friendships, catching up with everyone and learning about grandchildren. Almost made me feel like 18 again. LOL Dancing, good food and great friends. Outstanding! Thanks to Linda, Brenda and Trish for doing the hard core organizing. Carl for his hilarious SHS trivia and great suggests for auction donations (his wife became an a special committee member) and Bill for leading the charge. Can't wait until next year. Jimmy Helms - 06-30-2010 I would have been in the class of 1963 but a friend and I decided that we wanted to be sailors. So shortly after begining the 10th. grade we joined the Navy. Being an Air Force brat my family moved back to N.C. before I got out of service so I lost contact with friends and class mates. I found this web site and I have really enjoyed it. Looking back at pictures and saying, hey, I remember him or her. Its been great. I've swaped email with Linda a few times. I've been getting the old R.A. year book out and remembering different people and things that we did back then. Goosh thats been 50 years. Where has it gone. I was deeply sadened to hear of the lost of Diane Dooley, she was a dear friend at R.A. Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the up coming reunion.
