HMMMMM -- the word is married. Some people just can't spell. :-) Irene Kievenaar - 02-26-2009
I am so sorry I wont be able to make the next 'mini' reunion. My daughter is getting marring that weekend and we have many folks coming from all over the country and a few of our European family coming to the wedding too. For some reason, I simply cannot get away. I hope there are many pictures taken and posted here. I would love to hear from anyone that remembers me.
Love, Irene Roland Everett Langford - 02-23-2009
I have just returned from four years in China, so I couldn't make the previous reunion. I shall try my best to be there in June. It is sad that the 'In Memory of' section is getting larger. I live in Hosuton, TX now, and seldom get back to Savannah, although my sister, Dorothy (SHS CLass of 1964), still lives there. Greetings to all my friends from those years ago. I am so happy that linda combs told me how to get to this web site,it has been great to go back through the blue Jacket,as mine was destroyed. It was good to look at all the faces again and remember classmates.I am looking forward to the 46th at Tybee Pavillion and to the crabshack........see ya there. It was great to talk with Brenda Sutton yesterday by phone AND to find this great web site. Thanks to all who have worked to keep us all in contact with each other. Hope to see you this summer at the beach reunion.

I just learned of this wonderful web site. I noticed I was listed as missing. BUT now I'm found. Sounds like some of the lyrics from the old hymn 'Amazing Grace.' I was so sad to learn so many of my class mates are no longer with us. None of us ever thought about growing old, and that in time we would no longer be here. So many of us, myself included, got effected by the Vietnam War, and it effected in more than one way.
I am still living in Savannah, and I am married to a jenkis High School graduate (sorry guys, LOL). My wife is a RN and works at one of the local hospitals.
Please write me if you remember me. I promise to answer you.
Merry Christmas to all of you and a HAPPY, HEALTHY New year!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you all are safe. Susan Willis Brant - 09-06-2008
So glad to finally find this website. I have been lost so long not to have been very far away. Looking forward to the next reunion. Irene Kievenaar - 09-02-2008
Bill,
I hope you have survived the storm and are now back in your home. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.

To the webmaster : I am extremely impressed with the layout and organization of yall's website.
To the classmates of SHS 1963: I was honored to assist your reunion committee in locating members of your senior class. Be assured whatever help I can provide, I will gladly do so.
Regards,
Rebecca

The reunion was so great, I only regret that I did not get to talk to everyone. I am so excited that we are going to do it again next year. I must say that I had my moments of indecision of whether I would go or not, but am so glad that they only lasted a short time. After talking to Brenda and some of my other good friends whom I had kind of lost touch with, they assured me I should be there. It was awesome. I hope to see even more people next time. I think it can only get better, same as we do,with age. Right guys.
